Assessment and certification

All students deemed to have reached the required standard will be issued with a recognised certificate in PAEDIATRIC FIRST AID which is VALID FOR 3 YEARS. It should be remembered that the Paediatric First Aider should not attempt to give first aid for which they have not been trained.

The HSE (NI) has strongly recommended that those attending this course attend annual refresher training lasting 2-3 hours to support First Aiders to remain confident and competent. This is not compulsory but it is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED by the HSENI and Bisp Training Ltd.
