Introduction to Risk Assessment

This course will provide an understanding of the principles of risk assessment and the process of conducting risk assessments. It involves lots of group work and introduces employees to workplace health and safety regulations, demonstrates the need for shared responsibility and explains the role of risk assessment at work.
On completion of this course delegates should be able to identify risks and risk reduction measures to be considered when carrying out a risk assessment.

The duration of the course can be extended and tailored to include the key concerns of the client.

Duration: 4 – 6hrs
Who should attend? All staff who are expected to work safely and maintain a safe working environment for others. Delegates are required to have good literacy and a sound understanding of English to be able to cope with the practical activities.
